Molte Aries International Foundation conducted more seminars on the Prevention of Teenage Pregnancy in Barangay Namtutan on May 17, 2023 and in Barangay Madayegdeg on June 17, 2023 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, both barangays in the City of San Fernando, La Union. A total of 80 participants both teenagers and parents attended the two seminars.
It is the goal of the seminar to raise awareness to teenagers and parents on the causes, effects and interventions to prevent teenage pregnancy and emphasize the benefits of planned pregnancy. Further, it is the foundation’s hope that this seminar will contribute in the reduction of the incidence of teenage pregnancy in the City of San Fernando, La Union.
These two seminars were made possible through the sponsorship of United Staffing Registry, Inc. that is based in Flushing, New York with Mr. Ben Santos, President and CEO. MAIFI will conduct more seminars in other barangays in the City of San Fernando, La Union in the
remaining months of 2023 and plans also to do the same in 2024.
